In 2018, the First Municipal Veterinary Clinic of LME "Lev" is expected to switch to a 24-hour work, as well as to equip the clinic with modern instrumentation, to continue working with homeless animals, to get more dogs into loving homes, to continue free identification with electronic chips, to introduce new services, and many other things.

Thus, this year, the plans of LME "Lev" are as follows: |
- Round-the-clock work schedule of the First Municipal Veterinary Clinic of the Municipal Enterprise "Lev". In 2018, the enterprise is expected to switch to round-the-clock operation. Medical services will be available for stray animals and family pets who need emergency care.

- New up-to-date equipment for the First Municipal Veterinary Clinic of the Municipal Enterprise "Lev" –improvement of surgical operations safety. Every and each animal, regardless whether it is a family pet or still stray one, deserves a high-quality and safe health care.

- In 2018, the company will continue to actively work with the homeless animals. The sterilization 400 dogs and 700 cats is planned to be performed at the enterprise. Also we plan to revaccinate 200 animals against rabies.

- Development of the Adoption Center and increase of the rate of stray animals adoption. This year LME "Lev" will prolong staying of stray animals at the enterprise from 10 to 15 days so that to increase their chances to be happily adopted. In 2017, our team has found homes for 70% of the dogs trapped on Lviv streets. In 2018, we expect to increase this rate to 80%. In general, we plan to find loving homes for 550 dogs.

- LME "Lev" in cooperation with our partners Animal-id.info, with funding from British Foundation DogTrust, continues free-of-charge implantation of electronic identification microchips (in total, 5 thousand microchips were provided to be used in Lviv).

- More services to be provided by the First Municipal Veterinary Clinic of LME "Lev" to the socially and economically disadvantaged groups at special prices.

- Start of the project on the development of a crematorium, columbarium and cemetery towards the safe burial of pets and stray animals in Lviv.
|
- Development of an off-leash area in front of LME "Lev" at Promyslova Street in Lviv for off-leash walks and dog trainings. It will be accessible not only for employees, volunteers and four-legged fosterlings of LME "Lev", but also for neighbourhood residents and their dogs.

- Project on the development of civilized dog walking areas in various districts of Lviv.
