At first, a human tamed a dog. Then a human has built cities and problems for trustful paws began... All over the world, cities and towns face a problem of homeless animals. Packs of dogs, bites, spread of rabies and other infections... All of this force a human, who not long ago invited a dog into life of the human species, to invent methods to get rid of such undesirable things. And, unfortunately, those methods sometimes are not humane. Lviv Municipal Enterprise "Lev" issued a bilingual brochure to tell more about efforts towards humanity in treating animals in our city both in Ukrainian and in English. This brochure includes information on changes, caused by the development of LME "Lev" as a neutering and veterinary center, as well as the Adoption Center, unique for Ukraine. We also gave the information how everyone can join these efforts. We will give this brochure to our partners, donors and everyone concerned with fate and rights of animals.
